WorkBramble is a recruitment service based in Hepburn Springs, Victoria. Through workbramble.com we advertise remote part-time and full-time roles that people living in Australia can do from home, and we pass interested applicants on to the businesses that offer those roles.
This policy explains what personal information reaches us, what happens to it and the choices you have. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Questions can be sent to careers@workbramble.com at any time.
The application form on our homepage is provided by Waformly, an online form service. When you press submit, Waformly records your answers and makes them available to WorkBramble. The form currently asks for:
If we add, remove or rename a field, this list will be updated at the same time.
After the form, you are invited to message our HR team on WhatsApp. When you send that message we can see your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you write. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name as it appears in the email and the content of your message.
Like most websites, ours is served through a hosting provider that keeps short server logs. These logs show the IP address of the device making a request, the browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page and the time. They are used to keep the site running and to spot misuse. We do not use them to work out who an individual visitor is.
Fields marked as required on the form must be filled in before it can be sent, because without them HR has no way to reach you or understand which role suits you. Fields marked optional can be left blank and doing so will not count against you.
Please keep passwords, verification codes, card numbers, internet banking logins, tax file numbers and copies of identity documents to yourself. WorkBramble has no use for them. If any of these arrive by mistake we delete them, and we may let you know that we have done so.
We use what you provide to read and answer your application, explain the roles and the training, suggest whether part-time or full-time is a better fit, introduce you to an employer when you agree to it, keep a record of our conversations, handle complaints and meet our legal obligations.
WorkBramble does not sell personal information, rent it out or swap it with other organisations. Your details are never used to sell you unrelated products or services. Before your details go to an employer we tell you which employer it is, and nothing is shared without your agreement.
Once you say yes to an introduction, we send the employer what it needs to contact you, which is usually your name and the number or email address you prefer. From that point the employer holds its own copy and is responsible for it under the privacy laws that apply to that business.
A small number of outside services help us run the site and talk with applicants:
If we begin using another provider that handles applicant information, we will name it on this page before it starts.
We may disclose personal information when an Australian law requires it, when a court or tribunal orders it, when an authorised agency asks for it under a legal power, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is needed to reduce a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety.
The application has two parts. Submitting the form sends your answers to WorkBramble through Waformly straight away. WhatsApp then opens with a short message already typed, but that message is only delivered if you press send yourself. We do not start WhatsApp conversations with people who have not contacted us first.
The site uses the Meta Pixel, which can place cookies or use similar browser storage so that visits and form submissions can be counted. Waformly may use small technical files so the form loads and submits properly. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work if you do.
We advertise on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. To see whether those adverts lead to applications, the site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel together with Meta's Conversions API. Together they record page visits on workbramble.com and the moment the application form is submitted, along with technical details such as the page address, browser information and Meta's own cookie identifiers.
We use these measurements to judge which adverts are useful and to stop paying for ones that are not. You can manage how Meta uses this information for advertising through the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
Some of our providers store or process information outside Australia, for example in the United States, Ireland or other countries where they run data centres. Each provider has its own published privacy and security terms, and we choose providers that commit to protecting the data they hold.
Form answers, WhatsApp chats and emails are deleted no more than 12 months after our last contact with you. Hosting logs roll off after 30 days at most, and backup copies of them lapse no more than 30 days after that.
Access to applications is limited to WorkBramble staff who work on them. Our accounts use unique passwords and two-step sign-in where it is offered. No online system can be made completely secure, so we ask you not to send sensitive details we have not requested.
Your phone keeps its own copy of any WhatsApp chat with us, and an employer you were introduced to keeps its own records. Removing information from our systems does not remove those copies.
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by writing to careers@workbramble.com. Our reply will reach you inside 30 days of the request. You can also withdraw from the process at any time; we will stop using your details from then on, although we cannot recall information already given to an employer with your consent.
No software accepts or rejects applications at WorkBramble. Each application is read and answered by a member of our team.
Our roles are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we find that we have, we delete it.
If you think we have handled your personal information badly, write to careers@workbramble.com and explain what happened. We will investigate and send you a written answer. If you are still unhappy after our reply, let us know and we will review the matter again.
When our practices change we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, such as a new form field or a new provider, we will also let current applicants know.
